Founded in Zürich in August 2021, Pelt8 built the platform that helped almost a hundred companies move from spreadsheets to structured, auditable ESG reporting. In July 2025, we joined forces with Atlas Metrics to continue that mission at European scale.
Pelt8 was founded by Julian Osborne, who saw a clear gap: Swiss companies were drowning in spreadsheets, emails, and ad-hoc processes to collect ESG data — and it was slowing down real climate action. Julian brought in Gwen Jettain as co-founder to build the commercial engine alongside the platform, and together they set out to change that in August 2021.
The platform they built gave sustainability teams a central hub to collect, validate, and report non-financial data against GRI, SASB, TCFD, ESRS, CSRD, and Swiss CO regulations — all in one auditable place. Scope 1, 2 & 3 emissions, climate risk, biodiversity scores — all within one system.
Beyond data management, Pelt8 became a community hub — leading the Swiss Climate Reporting Forum, the Swiss Climate Reporting Blueprint, and hosting events at SIX with GreenBuzz Zürich, Enfinit and others. The mission was always bigger than software.
In July 2025, Pelt8 and Atlas Metrics — two teams that first connected at Kickstart 2023 — formalized their shared vision. Pelt8 clients migrated to Atlas Metrics' broader platform with AI-powered double materiality analysis, full CSRD and EU Taxonomy compliance, and multi-risk management tools.
