In 2021, Gwen joined Julian on the journey, and with a shared vision and purpose, they founded Pelt8 to help accelerate the transition towards a sustainable economy.
What does Pelt8 stand for?
A “peltate” is a shield shaped leaf, with the stalk attached on the underside. The number eight – a lucky number, meaning wealth & prosperity – if rotated by 90°, is is the symbol of infinity.
Our name reflects our engagement to contributing building a world in which every organisation – private and public – contributes to our world’s continued existence.
An engagement we aim to fulfill by providing knowledge and technology for organisations and societies to replenish our world’s resources faster than we can consume them.
